Lenny Kravitz literally set Zadar on fire on 6th August, 2008 thrilling more than 10,000 fans with his two-and-a-half hour performance.

The long-awaited Croatian concert by Lenny Kravitz was running late due to some technical problems. Once everything was repaired, Lenny began to thrill the audience; especially by saying that he felt this could be the beginning of a beautiful new friendship. The concert, which was later proclaimed by all the media as the best event of 2008 in Zadar, can be illustrated with an image of Lenny Kravitz on stage in great physical shape with his audience in a great mood frantically chanting on the swarming area outside the sports hall Jazine.

Most of the songs he performed were from the best period of his career – from his first three albums; ´Let Love Rule´, ´Mama Said´ and ´Are You Gonna Go My Way´. The central part of the concert was dominated by ballads, later followed by ´American Woman´, ´Fly Away´ and the lengthy version of ´Let Love Rule´ usually played at the end of Kravitz’s concerts. After the concert, Lenny Kravitz came down into the crowd and hugged fans and shook their hands. He came out for the encore and played ´Believe´ and ´Are You Gonna Go My Way´ leaving just about everyone wanting more.

Lenny Kravitz has in fact proved in Zadar to be a musician who genuinely lives his music and demonstrated with his performance how one can stay on top for so many years.
