CONCERT BY YOUNG ENSEMBLES OF THE BLAGOJE BERSA MUSIC SCHOOL
The Blagoje Bersa Music School in Zadar is home to a number of ensembles that consist of students who work under the guidance of their school teachers: the Girls’ Choir, the Bersići Choir, the traditional Dalmatian a cappella choirs Bersice and Fjok, a string orchestra, a little violinists’ orchestra, a cello orchestra, a guitar orchestra, and a wind orchestra. In the Young Ensembles concert, all ensembles usually showcase within the Bersa Cycle. They prepare a varied programme, which is usually filled with seasonal music pieces, considering the time of Advent. Led by their mentors, young primary and secondary school musicians have the opportunity to acquire yet another important experience in their musical education through chamber music performances.
